Where I grew up...

I grew up moving between different cultural spaces, and that experience has given me a deep appreciation for the resilience that comes from navigating change and transition. My life journey has shown me that healing often begins when we find someone safe to walk alongside us through life’s more difficult moments. That realization shaped my path toward becoming a therapist.

My professional training

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than a decade of clinical experience. I specialize in supporting adults, couples, and families who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, conflict in relationships, and the impact of intergenerational trauma. My therapeutic approach is both relational and systemic, weaving together clinical expertise with
a deep respect for the unique stories each client carries.

My professional training began in the United States, where I earned my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and completed my clinical training across a range of settings. Over the years, I have focused my practice on helping adults and families who feel caught in patterns that bring pain rather than connection. While I have worked closely with parents and families, much of my work centers on adults who carry unresolved pain and who long to experience more freedom, clarity, and deeper emotional bonds in their relationships.

Having practiced in both the United States and Korea, I bring a multicultural perspective that allows me to understand the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural transitions. I am especially passionate about helping clients feel less alone in their struggles and more empowered to create meaningful, connected lives.

When I'm out of the office...

I love spending time in nature, traveling, and enjoying long conversations with friends over good food. I also find joy in journaling, reading, and simply making space for quiet reflection. These moments help me stay grounded and present, so I can bring that same sense of calm and openness into my work with clients.
